Oscillation Criteria of Third Order Nonlinear Neutral Difference Equations

In this paper we consider the third order nonlinear neutral difference equation of the form ∆(rn(∆(xn ± pnxσ(n)))) + f (n, xτ(n)) = 0, we establish some sufficient conditions which ensure that every solution of this equation are either oscillatory or converges to zero. Examples are provided to illustrate the main results.

Oscillation Criteria for Third-order Functional Differential Equations with Damping

This paper is a continuation of the recent study by Bohner et al [9] on oscillation properties of nonlinear third order functional differential equation under the assumption that the second order differential equation is nonoscillatory. We consider both the delayed and advanced case of the studied equation. The presented results correct and extend earlier ones. Several illustrative examples are...

Oscillation criteria for a class of second-order neutral delay differential equations

Oscillation criteria for a class of second order neutral delay differential equations of the form + − ′ ′+ − =0, ≥ 0 is studied. By using first and second mean value theorem of integrals, the new sufficient condition is obtained and the corresponding result what was already obtained is generalized by the result in this paper.

Oscillation Criteria for a Class of Second-Order Nonlinear Differential Equations with Damping Term

and Applied Analysis 3 Proof. Assume that 1.1 has a nonoscillatory solution x t . Without loss of generality, suppose that it is an eventually positive solution if it is an eventually negative solution, the proof is similar , that is, x t > 0 for all t ≥ t0. We consider the following three cases. Case 1. Suppose that x′ t is oscillatory. Then there exists t1 ≥ t0 such that x′ t1 0. From 1.1 , w...

Oscillation Results for Third Order Half-linear Neutral Difference Equations

In this paper some new sufficient conditions for the oscillation of solutions of the third order half-linear difference equations ∆ ( an(∆ (xn + bnh(xn−δ))) α ) + qnf(xn+1−τ ) = 0 and ∆ ( an(∆ (xn − bnh(xn−δ))) α ) + qnf(xn+1−τ ) = 0 are established. Some examples are presented to illustrate the main results.
